At Chevy, the pace is steady and the energy is high. In 2015, the same was true. Several models were fully redesigned. All models across the 2015 line received new 4G data connection with WiFi hotspot capability, OnStar was improved to be faster and Chevy's MyLink system with Apple CarPlay was improved. New advanced high-tech safety features were included such as forward-collision warning and lane-departure intervention. A head-up display with crisp digital readouts on an ergonomically improved instrument cluster arrived. New trim and base levels joined the Chevy lineup for select models. An all new six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission became available as did Brembo brakes. A 6.2-liter V8 engine was added to the options list and a turbocharged engine became standard. For an improved ride and better rough road absorbency, some models received upgrades to an adaptive suspension with “magnetorheological dampers” and some were delivered with an all new chassis. Fuel economy numbers revealed improvement. Some model cabins were improved showing higher-quality materials, better sound absorption techniques for an enviously quieter cabin, and a third-row fold-flat rear seat was added to some for more flexibility convenience. And to add to the 2015 excitement, a brand new admirable SUV model joined the highly-trusted Chevy line.
